Key roles include the position of Test Manager

The main duties of the Software Test Manager will be to write and execute manual and automated tests, raising fault reports, tracking faults, and assistance in the maintenance of the test network infrastructure. Must be able to create new test environments and processes.
Also you will provide assistance to the customer support team in reproducing customer issues. The Test Manager will additionally require leadership experience as you will be managing a small team of software product testers.

The successful Software Tester applicants will have skills and demonstrable commercial experience of software testing in a structured test environment.

Main Responsibilities:

liaising extensively with Project Manager & Support & Service teams
managing planned and ad hoc testing programmes
assisting in the development of Test Driven Development (TDD) plans
drawing up a testing schedule for the completed systems, within an Agile of conventional development environment;
identifying options for potential solutions and assessing them for both technical and business suitability;
Supporting the technical teams in the identification of logical and innovative solutions to complex problems;
Recording test results methodically, writing test reports, presenting test results to internal clients;
working closely with developers and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and internal user satisfaction;
ensuring that budgets & timescales are adhered to and deadlines met;
managing of taking responsibility for the implementation of a new applications and operating environments for testing;
planning and working flexibly to a deadline;
providing training to users of a new system where required;
keeping up to date with technical as well as industry sector developments.
Education, Skills and Experience:

Education:

Numerate education to A level or beyond

Skills:

· Produce written documents in the English language with clearly organized thoughts.

· Use and interpret graphical information such as construction plans, schematic drawings, wiring diagrams, flow charts, layouts, other visual aids, and electronic project management applications.

· Prepare and monitor program budgets and expenditures.

· Explain information in a clear and understandable manner to non-technical persons.

· Communicate orally in the English language with other employees, and partners as appropriate

· Comprehend and make inferences from material written in the English language.
